BHOG is an initiative taken by FSSAI under EAT RIGHT INDIA scheme to encourage Places of Worship to adopt and maintain food safety and hygiene as well as convey food safety messages through such places to the people and to be responsible citizen.

It involves evaluating and encouraging the availability of nutritious food options, promoting food safety, and fostering a health-conscious environment at campus. The goal is to create a culture of healthy eating among students and staff

Eat Right School Auditing aims at creating awareness about food safety, nutrition & hygiene among school children, and through them among the community at large. We have done audits in more than 900+ government-aided schools.

EAT RIGHT SCHOOL AUDITS

Eat Right School Auditing aims at creating awareness about food safety, nutrition & hygiene among school children, and through them among the community at large. Children are powerful change agents. Messages delivered to, and through children, have the potential to usher in behavioral change and a culture of safe and wholesome food. Since, food habits are developed early in life, adequate coverage of food and nutrition both in curriculum and extracurricular activities at the school level is essential. With a customer base exceeding 1000, Food Safety Services has made a substantial impact on the region’s food safety landscape. We take pride in our role as educators, having trained over 2 lakh students in the intricacies of food safety and hygiene. Moreover, we have reached beyond the student population, with 10,000+ principals and teachers benefiting from specialized training in these critical areas. As part of our commitment to community outreach, Food Safety Services conducted the “Eat Right” initiative under the Eat Right Schools program, reaching out to more than 10,000 students. This initiative aimed to instil healthy eating habits and promote nutrition awareness among the younger generation. Furthermore, our Nutrition Health and Wellness Initiative witnessed the successful completion of over 10 lakh health checkups for school students. One of our notable achievements is the training of 1940+ School Health and Wellness Ambassadors. These ambassadors play a crucial role in disseminating knowledge about health and wellness practices within their respective educational institutions.

EAT RIGHT STATION AUDITS

The Eat Right Railway Station is one of the initiatives under the Eat Right India movement led by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). Under this initiative, all food vendors on the railway station, both organized catering units/ restaurants/ food courts as well as small vendor kiosks/ retail outlets/ booths etc are targeted to ensure they follow safe cooking and handling practices during preparation and serving of food to the railway passengers, officials and staff. Under “Eat Right Station” program we conducted audit of Nagpur railway station and help to make it certified station.

BHOG AUDITS

The BHOG audit certification enhances the safety and trust of devotees consuming food at religious establishments, promoting public health and compliance with national food safety standards. Swaminarayan Temple of Nagpur, Mahakaleshwar Temple of Ujjain, Maa Danteshwari Temple of Chattisgarh, Shree Ram Mandir Raipur are some of the examples of Places of Worship certified under BHOG initiative of FSSAI under our auditing partnership. This comprehensive program exemplifies our dedication to fostering the overall well-being of the community.
