We are a hygiene rating audit agency that conducts hygiene rating audits under QCI. Our Mission is to appropriately perform audits at all food service establishments (FSEs) by following all QCI norms and instructions. We obey all the legal requirements, impartiality & Confidentiality policy during all processes of hygiene rating audit of FSEs. We ensure that only approved technical and skilled auditors will do an audit. We maintain all the documents and records required for further evidence, which fulfills HRAA as a legal agency and gets the trust of FBOs and QCI that we perform audits safely and competently.

Hygiene Rating is an online, transparent scoring and rating scheme of FSSAI, which aims to allow consumers to make informed choices about the places where they eat out & through these choices, encourage businesses to improve their hygiene standards & thus reduce the incidence of food-borne illness.
HOW TO GET HYGEINE RATING CERTIFIED?

AUDIT PROCEDURE

ENROLLING IN HYGIENE RATING SCHEME
The food business operator with the hygiene rating requirements should follow the following steps to apply for the Hygiene Rating Scheme:
  1. FBO selects the HRAA and schedules an audit to verify compliance with the Hygiene Rating Scheme.
  2. HRAA to update details of the audit and assign Hygiene Rating Auditor online on the website.
  3. Auditor visits the food premises and conducts audit to assess compliance with Hygiene Rating Scheme requirements.
  4. Auditor will submit report to Hygiene Rating Audit Agency.
  5. HRAA will verify and approve the audit report.
  6. After the verification process is completed, the HRAA can download the ‘Verified Hygiene Rating Certificate’ and the handover the certificate to the FEs to display it at the premises. Also, the Hygiene Rating Certificate will be sent to the FBO’s registered email ID.

AUDIT FEES

AASPL-HRAA charged the fee to organization in a non- discriminatory manner. This fee is charged based on Man-days. Man-days is calculated based on the number of Food Handers in FBO’s Premises as below-

Note-

  1. Total Number of staff refers to ALL staff workers which includes Managers, Chefs, Assistant Chefs, Waiters, maids, etc.
  2. Number of staff is an indication of extent of operations in the premises which could directly affect duration of audit.
  3. Once hygiene rating audit is non-satisfactory, audit can only be conducted after 3 months from earlier audit.
  4. FBOs have to register themselves on the HR portal and select the HR agency.
  5. Payment Terms will be 100% advance.
  6. GST Extra as applicable (if any).
  7. Over 150 food handlers will increase one Man-day charge.
  8. Fees may vary according to the auditors traveling, lodging, food Charge and premise area.
